In addition to the limitations of the material used by The General, they didn’t even fully weld the seams where the metal was bent over. Marginal at best, woefully inadequate when paired with serious power.
Like the rear, the C7 front suspension comes assembled with all new GM components. Also, note the front brace welded to the frame just below the upper A-arm mount and which serves the same purpose as a shock tower brace on a stock frame—it’s one of many things that make the Street Shop frame stiffer than stock.
