Check out our easy to follow driving directions to the Corvette Chevy Expo on the beautiful island of Galveston, Texas. It is easy to get to from Houston and surrounding areas to the barrier island on the Texas Gulf Coast in the United States, about 50 miles southeast of Houston.

The 2024 Corvette Chevy Expo will showcase an incredible collection of historical Chevy show cars as well as some of the newest vehicles that are fully customized, including resto mods and pro-street vehicles.

Driving Directions from Houston
- Take Interstate 45 South to Galveston.
- Take Exit 1a – 61st Street exit and turn right (south).
- Stay on 61st Street to Seawall Boulevard.
- Turn left (east) at Seawall Boulevard. The Galveston Island Convention Center is located at 56th Street and Seawall Boulevard on the left (north) side. (Just past the Kroger grocery store)

Airports: Galveston Island is located 50 miles southeast of Houston. Many national and international carriers serve the Houston area’s two major airports.
William P. Hobby Airport is the closer of the two airports, just 40 miles from Galveston. Visit fly2houston.com/hobby for information. DIRECTIONS TO GALVESTON: Begin at William P Hobby on Lockheed Ave and go North for 0.2 miles. Turn left on Convair St and go West for 200 feet. Turn right on Telephone Rd, TX-35, and go North for 0.3 miles. Turn right on Airport Blvd and go East for 2.4 miles. Turn right on Gulf Fwy and go Southeast for 0.6 miles. Continue on the ramp at the sign reading “I-45 S” and go Southeast for 0.3 miles. Continue on I-45 and go Southeast for 35 miles to Galveston Island.

DIRECTIONS TO GALVESTON: Begin at George Bush Intercontinental Airport on Terminal Rd S and go East for 0.6 miles. Bear left and go Southeast for 300 feet. Turn left on Greens Rd and go East for 2.4 miles. Turn right on Eastex Fwy, US-59, US-59 N, and go South for 0.6 miles. Bear left on the ramp and go South for 1000 feet. Continue on Eastex Fwy, US-59, and go South for 14 miles. Bear right on the ramp at the sign reading “I-45 to Galveston / Dallas” and go South for 0.6 miles. Continue on I-45 and go Southeast for 45 miles to Galveston Island.
